Hounslow Youth Counselling Service (HYCS) come into school 1 full day and 2 half days a week.  This service is accessed by a referral system.  Students may self refer to their Head of Year or Ms O'Connell (DSL) but we may offer a referral if we feel there is a need.  If a student would rather not have counselling through the school HYCS can be accessed directly.

HYCS offer a free, 1-2-1 counselling service just for young people. Our service is confidential and anyone aged 11-25 who lives, works or studies in the Borough of Hounslow can self-refer to our service.

HYCS is able to offer a fully BACP-accredited counselling service to outreach settings that works according to professional best practice guidance and the Ethical Framework of the BACP.

HYCS has a trusted team of counsellors who are all counselling professionals with specialist experience of working with young people. Our counsellors are all DBS checked and registered with professional bodies such as the BACP or UKCP and many are also fully Accredited Members of the BACP. All are ready to listen to young people.
