Art

Art is about the appreciation of all things, it is about developing an aesthetic awareness of the world about us. Thus improving our quality of life and our ability to appreciate good things.

Art promotes and develops individuality, flexibility, creativity and imaginative thought through providing the opportunity for self expression.

The Department consists of a well qualified and committed staff from a range of specialist backgrounds.

Accommodation and Resources

The Department is based in two large adjoining rooms on the ground floor of the school's main building. There is easy access to the prayer garden which is used as a resource and the department benefits from being in close proximity to the graphics and resistant materials workshops. A kiln facilitates the production of clay work in all years.
