St Mark's Catholic School

Wellbeing

At St Mark’s, we believe that every child should feel known, valued, supported and safe. Inspired by our Catholic ethos and Gospel values, we are committed to creating a school community where students can flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

We understand that wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. Students thrive when they feel secure, respected and supported, and we are proud of the caring relationships and strong sense of community that underpin life at St Mark’s. Our approach to wellbeing is rooted in our core values of Strength, Teamwork, Mission, Ambition, Respect and Knowledge, which shape how we care for and support one another every day.

Our wellbeing provision reflects a whole-school approach, recognising that positive mental health and emotional wellbeing are everyone’s responsibility. This includes creating an environment where students feel listened to, where student voice is valued and where support is available early when challenges arise.
