For the past 12 months, students now in Year 11 have been training intensely for their qualification. Whilst having weekly sessions, as part of the programme students also had to contribute to the wider life of the school such as assemblies, mentoring, form time activities where they are encouraged to apply their learning across the wider school setting. 

On December 10th, 20 Year 11 students took their final exam and performed exceptionally. The examiners were in awe of their passion, drive and authenticity in their speech writing and performance. We can now proudly confirm that all students achieved Distinction​ in their qualification. Congratulations to the following students who performed so well:

At GCSE, 90% of students achieved at least 5 standard passes including English and Maths and several students achieved all 7 - 9 grades. We are delighted that the majority of students will be returning to our Sixth Form in September.

The A Level results were outstanding and over 95% of our students have been successful in gaining places at universities of their choice. The majority of students will be attending Russell Group and other top universities including Durham, York, Leeds, Warwick, Exeter, Bristol, Edinburgh, Nottingham, King’s College, St Andrews,  Loughborough and Southampton. 

They will be studying a range of courses including Medicine, Veterinary Science.Law, Engineering, Pharmacy, Accounting and Finance, Politics, Nursing, Architecture, English, History, Classical Civilisation.

We wish all of our students every success in the future whether in further study, apprenticeships or employment.

The evening is filled with prayer, reflections and performances from the Choir and Orchestra and is truly a beautiful way to prepare for the birth of Christ.  

It is a free event, all are welcome and no ticket is required, but please arrive early to be sure of a seat.​ The service will last one hour.

GCSE

We are delighted with the overall results and the exceptional performance of individual students, several of whom achieved top grades across all subjects. The provisional headline figures are as follows:

42% of all entries were graded 9 – 7

87% of students achieved 9 – 4 grades in English and Maths

71% of students achieved 9 – 5 grades in English and Maths

84% of students achieved 5 standard passes including English and Maths

63% of students achieved the EBacc

Provisional Progress 8 score = 1.1

Attainment 8 score = 62

A Level

At A Level 60% of grades awarded were A* - B and 83% A* - C. There were many individual success stories and our consistently strong results reflects the high academic standards within the Sixth Form. Over 90% of our students gained places at their first-choice universities including Oxford, UCL, LSE, Durham, Exeter, Edinburgh, Manchester and Bristol to study a range of courses including Law, Medicine, Classical Studies, English, Economics, History, Politics, Mechanical Engineering, Business and Accounting.
