Secondary School Admissions 2024/2025

Offer Day - Friday 1st March 2024

Secondary School offers for September 2024 were made on National Offer Day - Friday 1st March 2024.

If you were offered a place at St Mark’s, please ensure you have accepted your place online on the eAdmissions website. We will be in touch in the upcoming months with further information ahead of your child joining us in September.

Waiting List

If you were offered a place at a school you ranked lower than St Mark’s in your preferences, you will be automatically added to our waiting list. If you were offered a place at a school ranked higher, you may still join the waiting list by getting in touch with your local council.

If you wish to be considered for St Mark’s and you did not originally apply to us, please contact School Admissions at your Local Authority, and complete our Supplementary Information Form.

Should places become available after Friday 15th March, they will be allocated and offered according to the published oversubscription criteria. 

Year 7 Entry for 2024

Applications for a place in Year 7 for the academic year beginning September 2024 closed on 31 October 2023. For late applications you will need to complete the following steps;

  1. Contact the admissions team at your local authority
  2. Read the Supplementary Information Form 2024-2025 Entry Notes
  3. Complete the St Mark’s online Supplementary Information Form
  4. Send a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate to ‘Admissions’ at St Mark’s School (if applicable). Applications from other denominations and faiths can submit a letter of support from their minister or faith leader.
  5. Send an original Certificate of Catholic Practice signed by your Parish Priest to ‘Admissions’ at St Mark’s School.

Appeals 

If you were unsuccessful in gaining a place at St Mark’s, you have the right to appeal to an independent appeals panel.

Appeals Procedure Timetable for 2024 Entry

In Year Admissions

Please contact Hounslow Borough Council's School Admissions department to complete an In-year Admission Form.  The Borough will let us know you are requesting a place.  We will send an Application Form to your postal address, please note that forms are not available in person from the school.  You will also require a Certificate of Catholic Practice which is available from your Parish Priest. 

The school operates a continuing interest list in each Year group based on the Admissions Policy for Year 7.
