Rewards System

At St Mark’s, we believe that recognition and reward should reflect the values and character we seek to develop in our pupils. Our ST MARK Points system is rooted in our Catholic mission and celebrates the everyday qualities, actions and contributions that help pupils flourish both within school and beyond. Pupils are recognised for demonstrating the values at the heart of our community through the ST MARK framework:

The system encourages pupils not only to achieve academically, but also to contribute positively to the life of the school, support others, demonstrate leadership, show resilience and actively live out Gospel values in everyday life.

Our rewards system is closely connected to our wider Personal Development provision, including the House System, Mission of the Month, Catholic Social Teaching themes, student leadership opportunities and whole school enrichment activities. This helps create a culture where pupils are recognised not simply for outcomes, but for character, service, participation and personal growth.

Through this approach, we aim to foster a community where pupils feel motivated, valued and inspired to make a positive difference both within St Mark’s and beyond.
