The St Mark's School community is founded on the Christian values of love, justice and peace expressed in the gospels. These values underpin everything that we do within the School.

We view each person as special and unique. We recognise and respond to their gifts, their needs and their aspirations. We seek to show love and care for all individuals, celebrating achievement and providing support when difficulties are experienced.

We recognise the crucial role which parents have to play in the education of their children. The continuing success of St Mark's School is based on this positive partnership between parents and School. The active involvement of parents in the life of the School brings a unique warmth and vitality to St Mark's.

St Mark's enjoys an outstanding reputation for academic achievement based on a consistent record of excellent examination results.  This Summer's A Level results were outstanding with A*-A grades 41% and A*-B grades 75%, the best results in Hounslow Local Authority. Twenty two students achieved all A*/A grades including two students who gained three A* grades. Over 100 students are moving on to Universities including Oxford and Cambridge and studying competitive courses such as Medicine.

This Summer's GCSE results were also outstanding. 90% of students achieved standard passes and 66% strong passes in both English and Maths.  63% of students achieved a standard pass in the English Baccalaureate and 55% a strong pass.  The Progress 8 score for all students was exceptional, 0.89.  The score for Disadvantaged students was also outstanding, 0.81. 40% of grades were A*/A. 42 students achieved the equivalent of 8+ A*/A grades with three students gaining the equivalent of 10 A* grades.

The Sunday Times has listed St. Mark's as the 13th best Comprehensive School in the country based on GCSE and 'A' Level results in Summer 2017.

Pupils require an orderly environment to focus on their studies effectively. We insist on the highest standards of behaviour and self-discipline. We expect all pupils to work hard, to show respect and courtesy for others and to take a pride in their appearance.

The School continues to offer a broad and balanced curriculum designed to meet the opportunities and challenges of adult life in the 21st century. Our thriving Sixth Form greatly enhances the character of the School. The high staying on rate is a testament to the very positive pupil teacher relationships which are established at St Mark's. Our Sixth Form students enjoy a challenging and enriching curriculum which enables the great majority to go on to further study, including Oxbridge.

In the school's January 2009 inspections Ofsted (reports.ofsted.gov.uk/) and the Diocese graded St Mark's "outstanding" in every category.

In April 2012 St Mark’s joined the Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust.
